Expansion  These abstract landscapes are inspired by actual places, but are all about capturing a specific emotional experience felt within the landscape.  I strive for a feeling of both isolation and intimacy...  a space that invites the viewer to feel open and free, while still aware of their own presence and narrative.  Through the use of abstraction and play, I invoke a new landscape that has less visual rules and more connection to the present moment.
