Valley Of Fire Series was inspired by a trip to Southern Nevada in early 2022.  Motions of Love was the first piece I completed and used palette and putty knives to apply the paint. The colors and lines of this landscape captured my imagination, so I kept going to create a series. Many of the compositions were taken from photos of the trip, however, I worked loosely to capture the feel and energy of this barren but dynamic environment. This is a sample of the work.
